Caravan Magazine  |  Falling for Autumn | October 2019 | Caravan Magazine
Finding the first conker of the season is one of my favourite moments of the whole year. I like to pick it up, pop it in my pocket and keep it there until it loses its shine. I just love autumn! The leaves are golden and invite you to jump in and the light dappled through the trees is magical. In my opinion, the UK is at its most wonderful when the days are ever so slightly shorter and we have to get outside to make the most of them.
Inside this issue, we're going all out to celebrate the season – Susie Kearley heads to the New Forest for an epic break, Iain Duff hits the road in Scotland and we offer you 10 of the best places to go in October including the National Arboretum, Richmond Park and Northamptonshire for the World Conker Championships! I actually live in Northamptonshire so maybe I'll see if I can have a go...
This month, we're also giving you a peek at some of the hottest new caravans for 2020 including Bailey's Discovery and Unicorn Black ranges plus Coachman's Acadia line-up. When it comes to caravanning, there's a lot to get excited about and we love helping you get the most out of your hobby whether you're away every weekend or just a couple of times a year.
I hope you enjoy this issue. Drop me a line and let me know or maybe challenge me to a game of conkers, if you dare.
