DVLA'S CLASSIC STANCE SPARKS £150k LAWSUIT
A classic enthusiast is suing the DVLA for £150,000 after it stripped his car of its historic status – and the verdict is set to determine whether the DVLA has a duty of care to its customers or not. Retired film producer and classic collector, Julian Seddon, paid £250,000 for an AC Cobra, which the DVLA reclassified as 2002 car because it was built with both old and new parts.
