MICK JONES
British guitar-slinger Mick Jones cut his musical teeth in the band of Johnny Hallyday, the ‘French Elvis’, in the 60s. Returning to England, he joined Spooky Tooth before winding up in New York in the mid-70s, where he formed Foreigner with ex-King Crimson multi-instrumentalist Ian McDonald and US singer Lou Gramm. The transatlantic rockers went on to sell 80 million records and scored No.1 hits with the ballads Waiting For A Girl Like You and I Want To Know What Love Is.
