Robbie Williams may have sold out his first Las Vegas residency, but it’s come at a cost. He explained: “I’ve played nine dates in Las Vegas and it’s gone really, really well. I’m spending all of the money that we’re making from it on the production. It’s like a calling card to go, ‘Hey America, look what I can do.’”
Robbie’s fortunes aren’t likely to suffer that much, his bank balance looked a bit healthier after selling out a 60,000-strong British Summer Time concert in London’s Hyde Park last month.
Meanwhile, the famously keen UFO enthusiast admitted to Jo Wood’s podcast that his alien-spotting has dried up of late. “Since I’ve had kids, the weirdness has stopped. That’s because my focus is on providing and being a daddy whereas before I had plenty of time on my hands to look for them.”
