Soundtrack album features new version of Jolene

Everyone’s making movies! Dumplin’, the new movie of Julie Murphy’s No. 1 New York Times novel starring Jennifer Aniston, is out now via Netflix. The Original Soundtrack album stars Dolly Parton on every song, including collaborations with Sia, Elle King, Alison Krauss, Macy Gray and others, alongside a new orchestral version of her evergreen Jolene – turn to page 84 for Country Music’s review of the OST. Parton isn’t in the movie itself, but via the characters’ obsessions with her sass and style she is, as one review puts it, “pretty much the fairy godmother of the whole movie.”
