Subject: What about the pros of food delivery apps?
From: Simone de Monerri Reading ‘The dangers of instant appification’ in the January issue [p130] as a disabled person, I felt alienated by Thea Everett’s arguments. While the cons of this new system are clear, what about the advantages? It’s not easy to pop out to the shops if you have a chronic health condition, are disabled or an OAP, or perhaps shielding from Covid. Food apps enable these sections of the population to retain their independence and have as much choice as everybody else.
