It all started after his hunt for a reliable tow-rig concluded with the bone-stock, 180,000-mile, classic-body Chevy. From the outset of ownership, Du Pre wanted to make solid power with his Duramax, but he never imagined the factory rotating assembly and stock head bolts would still be holding strong at 725 rwhp.
