Born and raised in Dublin, but now a fully-ledged member of the Adopted Londoners Association (that’s not a real thing), comedian Catherine Bohart is here to talk lesbian bed death. No, seriously. She really is.
“I think I prefer this show to last year’s. I’m very excited about it.” She’s talking about her soon-to-begin Edinburgh Fringe run with her new stand-up show, Lemon, by the way.
“Last year, while I was on the road with [debut show] Immaculate, a woman came up to me and said it was ‘disgusting’ because I talked about my ‘sex life’. I didn’t talk about my sex life – I just talked about my sexuality. I was like, ok, if I can bother a woman that much by not even talking about my sex life, then I’m going to talk about it. So, Lemon is a show about lesbian bed death and longterm lesbian relationships.”
