BUFFING UP! GROOMING THE GROOMS

DNA’s Grooming Editor-At-Large, Will Fennell (left), wonders what would happen if his French boyfriend (“The Frog”) were to pop the question? He also suggests some top tips to help you look your best on your big day – from looking less wrinkly, to fine-tuning your kissable lips, home facials, and sexy scents.

SOMEONE ASKED ME the other day, “If The Frog asked you to marry him, what promises would your vows include”? It got me thinking.

I could never go with the traditional promise to honour and obey. I’m happy to honour him (sometimes), but I’m skeptical about the obeying part, unless it’s in the bedroom, obviously. I decided on promises that I can more realistically live up to, being “the grooming guy” and all. Here goes…

WILL’S WEDDING VOWS

1. I promise not to follow age-inappropriate trends like topknots, mohawks or any style that Justin Bieber is currently sporting.

2. I promise never to sheer away all my pubic hair, no matter how grey it goes, or how much bigger

I wished ‘it’ looked. The pre-puberty look? Really? That’s some scary shit!

3. I promise to be wary with the Botox – even though pretending to be distraught can be a useful weapon against screaming boyfriends.

4. I promise not to live in denial and admit when and why my once-Classic Fit jeans have become more of a Slim Fit. Thank you very much Ben & Jerry.
