Everyone Loves a Sprout

Peter Capaldi spearheaded BBC One’s Sprout Boy Christmas campaign, voicing the animated trail in character as the Doctor. On 8 December Peter visited 14-year-old fan Daniel Norton at a London hospital.

Who No They Didn’t!

Colin Baker and Louise Jameson appeared panto-costumed in BBC One’s Christmas Eve Pointless Celebrities Special hosted by Alexander Armstrong. For Doctor Who’s 52nd anniversary, Peter Davison joined with fans outside BBC Broadcasting House on 23 November to protest against BBC cuts. The musical Gypsy, in which Peter starred as Herbie opposite Imelda Staunton, ended its successful run in London on 28 November.
