Patrick Ness, creator of the Doctor Who spin-off series Class, has cast doubt over the future of the series, revealing that even if the show returns, he will no longer be involved.
Writing on Twitter on 4 June, Ness stated: ‘I decided a while back that, with unbelievable regret, I won’t be writing any more Class, even if a Season 2 moves ahead.’
Had Ness carried on with Class, he revealed that he would have written scripts involving a ‘Weeping Angel civil war’, a ‘Weeping Angel planet’, ‘Quill’s dangerous son’ and ‘Charlie and Matteusz shirtless wood chopping’.
