The announcement that Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill will be joining Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor for the 2018 series of Doctor Who has generated quite a lot of excitement…

Your views on the ever-changing world of Doctor Who

Bradley Walsh starred as the mysterious Elijah Spellman in The Sarah Jane Adventures story The Day of the Clown (2008).

Star Letter

We now know the new TARDIS team: Bradley Walsh (also known as Odd Bob the Clown from The Sarah Jane Adventures story The Day of the Clown) as Graham, Tosin Cole as Ryan, Mandip Gill as Yasmin and, of course, the brilliant Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor.

New Doctor, new members of the TARDIS, new head writer… I cannot wait for what Chris Chibnall has in store. Bring on Series 11!

M over the moon to have Bradley Walsh on board! His career has been on the up in the past ten years: he’s had two albums out, a prime-time TV slot with quiz show The Chase, and now he’s part of the greatest programme on television. He and Jodie will make a rip-roaring duo. Needless to say, the chase is on!

I was excited when I heard the rumours earlier this year of Bradley Walsh joining Doctor Who. I’m extremely happy now that the rumours have been confirmed! Bradley Walsh is a celebrity with a long and brilliant history on and off TV. He will bring a lot to the programme. Although I’m sad to be losing a brilliant Doctor in Peter Capaldi, I’m excited and looking forward to the new casting. Welcome, Jodie Whittaker and a great selection of stars to my favourite programme. It’s in safe hands.
