This year’s Record Store Day includes lavish editions of Doctor Who soundtracks on a format that was once considered obsolete…
Demon’s Record Store Day releases of Genesis of the Daleks (2016) and Doctor Who and the Pescatons (2017).

One of the highlights of 2016’s Record Store Day was a new pressing of Genesis of the Daleks, a 1979 BBC Records and Tapes album featuring the edited soundtrack of the 1975 story with narration by Tom Baker. This came courtesy of Demon Records, a specialist reissue label known for its work in rock, soul and soundtracks – and more recently classic television and radio programmes.
