The conference will take place on Saturday 5 October 2024 on the theme of ‘discoveries’. The organisers explain that a focus on topics of interest to younger genealogists is preferred. Presentations can be between ten and thirty minutes and can be presented either live or as a pre-recording.
Sessions can be presented either individually or with two or more presenters and should be delivered in English. Formats including talks, workshops, interviews and chaired discussions will all be considered, and the organisers expect to be able to pay the chosen presenters through sponsorship, with details to be confirmed.
Prior to the event, accepted presenters under 18 years of age will be required to submit evidence of parental approval to take part. Proposals should include the presenter’s name, email, a 50-word bio, draft title and a short summary of the presentation. The deadline is 15 January and notification of acceptance will be by 8 March.
