The BBC’s hit genealogy TV show Who Do You Think You Are? will be back on UK screens this summer, with a host of new celebrities taken through the emotional journey of tracing their family trees.
This will be the 15th series of the popular show, produced by Wall to Wall, and the celebrities have been named as Our Girl and former Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan; award-winning actress and Broadchurch star Olivia Colman; pop star Boy George; Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas; comedian Lee Mack; former JLS boy band member Marvin Humes; barrister and TV personality Judge Rinder and Paralympian Jonnie Peacock.

An exact date had yet to be announced when Family Tree went to print but the episodes promise tales of suffragettes, affairs and wartime comedians. A BBC statement said: ‘From adultery to asylums, illicit drinking dens to revolutions, our celebrities travel round the world, from Gibraltar to Genoa, India, Jamaica, South Africa and Latvia, as they solve the mysteries in their family trees.
‘Series 15 reveals shocking discoveries, laughter and tears along the way.’
