TAKE YOUR RESEARCH TO THE NEXT LEVEL

Many of the documents that we use in our research were ‘working’ documents, in which presentation and legibility weren’t necessarily the prime consideration. Here’s an 1871 crew list for the Rosina of Poole. See if you can make out the names, ages and birthplaces of the crew members, together with the name of the last ship that they served in and the port that she belonged to. If you’d like to be emailed a copy of the crew list so that you can zoom in to study it, please email helen.t@family-tree.co.uk
