Many couples spend years and thousands of pounds on IVF to no avail, but a simple scientific test could tell if a woman will ever get pregnant through assisted fertility techniques, saving both time and money. It has long puzzled doctors why some women fail to conceive through assisted fertility especially when the embryos appear to be healthy, but a new discovery has revealed that women who never become pregnant carry a specific genetic ‘fingerprint’ in the womb which appears to hinder pregnancy.
