Ford & Fordson Magazine No.60 Father & Son Team Back Issue

4 Reviews   •  English   •   Trade & Professional (Agricultural)
Only $6.99
So here it is, the April and May issue of Ford and Fordson Tractors and it is all change again as this is my first issue taking over on the blue side. Big thanks goes to Scott Lambert who has done a superb job at producing the last few issues and expect he will continue to impress in his new position of Tractor and Machinery editor. Many will know I have been in charge of steering the red ship in the past amongst other titles. Being a County owner, I have a passion for Fords of all ages and particularly the conversions so will enjoy reporting the latest developments on these here. Our headline story looks at clean Ford 8630 Powershift belonging to a father and son team in Devon who are well known in the area for being devoted to the brand. Bernard Holloway also visits a Fordson N which has been in the family for many years and talks to the family about its life. Peter Love also continues a look at the 6X launch and speaks to David Woods for his memories of this momentous occasion. Plus we report on the success of LUK Clutches
near Sheffi eld who are one of the leading clutch manufacturers in the
UK. Producing plates, covers and dampers, the firm supplies to both
new OEMs and the after-market. Andrew Hall brings us to speed with
his latest E27N projects and explains what he has planned which we
hope to cover in the future issues. We have included a buyer’s guide this month on the 35 Series from Ford and New Holland. The Italian-based
model makes an ideal ploughing tractor as extremely simple to operate and maintain, so is a good all-rounder. If there is anything you would like us to consider for a future guide, please get in contact with us at the editorial address. Do please keep your letters, stories and photos coming in, be it large or small, we want to hear about it as it is you, the readers, that make F&FT.
