How to… smell great this Valentine’s Day

We all know fragrance is a weapon of mass seduction. But if you want things to go off with a bang, Grooming Guru Lee Kynaston has a few tips on getting the most from your eau de toilette…

01 Apply right. The neck and wrists might be the traditional place to apply fragrance, but that doesn’t mean they’re the best place to apply it. In fact, because they’re exposed to the air, fragrance won’t last as long as you might like if applied to these ‘pulse points’. A much better location for your eau de toilette is the chest, where it’ll get trapped against the skin but will still waft upwards as you throw some shapes. The crook of the back is a good place, too, as is the collarbone and any frequently flexed muscles. And no, that’s not a muscle – think more like your biceps.
