Sweetie, darling?

More than 35 years since they conquered Eurovision – yes, we actually won one! – Cheryl Baker and Jay Aston, formerly of Bucks Fizz, are now looking to conquer our sweetie jar of random questions. Are dragons real? Is double denim ever OK? Get ready ladies – it’s time for making your mind up!

Would you be good in a fight? Cheryl: Once we were at this gig and a guy on stage invited Bonnie Tyler up to sing – and she was brilliant! We all applauded, but then the drummer said that he’d like to see Bucks Fizz be put on the spot and sing live without warning. I asked who said that comment and was pointed to the drummer, so I went up and punched him on the nose. He soon apologised.

Where’s the strangest place you’ve ever put your hand? Jay: Up my dog’s arse! [Long pause] She was giving birth to eight puppies and was struggling so I went and helped her. Funny, but cute.
