CHANGING OF THE GUARD: Has the new 991 been worth the wait?
DIESEL DO NICELY: What makes the Panamera Diesel so good? We take it on a 2500-mile journey to find out.
FINAL DESTINATION: The most talked-about 911 of a generation is also one of the greatest. We had 24 hours with the 911 GT3 RS 4.0 and surprise surprise, it wasn’t long enough.
SEVENTY NOT OUT: Porsche has had some of the very best drivers race its cars, and one of the most successful was Derek Bell, who celebrated his 70th birthday in 2011. We take a look back at the great man’s career behind the wheel of some of Porsche’s best race cars.
HISTORY REPEATING: As the adage says, ‘old race cars never die, they just move on to the next welcoming paddock’ – this is certainly the case for Ron Goodman’s 356A.
WINTER TYRES: DO YOU NEED THEM?: Both tyre and car manufacturers have gone on the offensive this winter with the call to switch to winter tyres, but do they actually work?
NEWS: Porsche has launched the car for you; the Panamera GTS. Not convinced? Okay, well how about the new 911 RSR? We have also got news from JZ Machtech’s new range of retro Targa tops and Fuchs wheels, and the first pictures of the new 2012 911 Cabriolet.
PRE-’73: He has only gone and done it! Months of deliberation, procrastination and dithering has resulted in Steve Wright finally buying himself a racing car.
JUST LOOKING: If you like to improve on your factory fresh Porsche with aftermarket tuning parts, be warned, the EU is looking to take your ball away.
SECOND THOUGHTS: BOXSTER 2.9: The entry to Porsche ownership starts here, and the Boxter is 2.9 better than it has any right to be.
GREAT EVENTS: 1953 LE MANS 24 HOUR: Porsche’s relationship with Le Mans seemingly goes back to the beginning of time, but it only started in 1951 and by 1953 race it had already built a bespoke race car for the event.
FROM THE ARCHIVE: Take a look back at the original road tests of the first 911.
