As little as 10 minutes of highintensity interval training (HIIT) three times a week can have ‘meaningful health benefits’, according to science, but what if all those burpees are a bit off-putting? New research has found that all it takes to get motivated for a HIIT workout and keep up the habit is music. Researchers found that newbies were open to the idea of intense workouts and that the sweaty bouts of exercise were particularly enjoyable with a soundtrack.
