Body language

I enjoyed your article ‘It’s OK not to feel body positive all the time’ (Dec/Jan), and what chef Gizzi Erskine said made a lot of sense. Loving your body can actually be really hard. There’s so much social pressure to say that you love your body and that you aren’t one of those people who feels insecure or struggles with aesthetics. But what I realise now is that not loving your body doesn’t make you a bad person or less worthy of respect, and is in fact perfectly legitimate, since we live in a culture still permeated with body shame. Thank you for the confidence booster.
