Despite public health campaigns to slap on more sunscreen, we’re nonchalant about the advice. As a result, it’s predicted that rates of melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, are expected to rise 52 per cent by 2030, the biggest projected increase for any type of cancer, which already kills six people a day in Britain.
