A new US study has found that stair climbing lowers blood pressure, builds leg strength, promotes fat loss, improves lipid profiles and reduces risk of osteoporosis, especially in post-menopausal women.
The women in the study climbed 192 steps two to five times a day, four days a week, to achieve these gains – proving lifts are for losers!
