We’ve had a scorcher of a summer, with endless days of sunshine. It’s been pretty amazing, although perhaps not for my poor garden! But I’m ready to embrace the new season now, get out the winter warmers, and pick up one or two of the new homeware releases in the shops. I’ve also got a kitchen refit on my mind. If it’s on your to-do list as well, head over to page 63 where we have dedicated nine pages to the ins and outs of what you need to know, from planning to employing tradespeople, plus how to shave off some pennies. If it’s a new bathroom you’re dreaming of, then take inspiration from our sanctuary bathroom feature on page 100. I mean, could there be anything better than a home spa? I don’t think so! Of course, these are big undertakings, but there’s plenty of quick-fix decorating in this issue too; like our wallpaper showcase on page 78. The interiors world has gone mad for maximalism, will you brave it with one of our impactful schemes? Personally, I’m coming around to the idea of a painterly wall mural! As always, we have more great real homes for you, which I hope will get you inspired to start your next project.
