Th ere’s always those few weeks of summer where you have to pause your riding plans due to hard ground and boiling hot days, right? Well, the beauty of autumn is that it usually offers ideal ground conditions for faster hacks, hunter trials and all-round adventuring. The early morning frosts and frequent rain showers give that extra bit of moisture to the soil, alongside a blanket of crunchy leaves that litter a forest floor, which lends itself perfectly to a blissful canter under a cool, sunny sky. It really is what dreams are made of.
