What’s a good way to support my favourite equine charity?

Sally Burton answers: Different equine charities will have different areas that they focus on. Those that rescue and rehome will be looking for safe, loving homes for their rescued equines. This is particularly important now when many owners are looking to give up their equines due to the rise in the cost of living.
However, if you don’t have the time, space or funds to take on a rescue equine, another way that you could support your chosen charity is through fundraising. This is a vital source of income for charities as it costs thousands every year to care for, house and feed each equine. Consider holding community fundraising events or you could even look into leaving a gift in your will.
