After another eventful season, it’s time to hang up the boots for the year and have a well-deserved break. With longer nights creeping in, making the yard a less desirable place to while away your evenings, now’s the perfect time to take some time out to reflect on how your season went and start making plans for the next one. Checking in on your progress helps you set realistic targets for next year but it’ll give you the chance to soak up all the things you’ve already achieved and get the wheels in motion for next year’s plans. Not sure where to start? No problem. Just follow our five-step guide…

It’s easy to forget some of the things you’ve done with your horse, and it may initially feel like you haven’t accomplished very much or that you could’ve done more. However, noting down everything you’ve achieved over the season – big or small – is a great way to feel positive about your efforts and appreciate all of the things you’ve done.
