TOP TIP
Some of the clothing requirements for dressage are quite specific, so don’t go shopping until you’re completely sure you’re buying permitted items.
What to wear
I’d like to do some affiliated dressage this year but I’m not sure what I can wear. Can you help?

A Horse&Rider answers:
From Intro to Advanced Medium level you need to wear a short jacket or tweed coat with a correctly tied stock on a white round collar, or a shirt and tie. You also need an up to standard protective helmet, plain white, cream or beige breeches or jodhpurs, long or short boots, and gloves. From Advanced level there’s the option to wear a tail coat instead of a short jacket.
