SUPER SHARING
Anyone who has horses will tell you it’s not just a hobby, it’s a way of life. But sometimes, however much we want this to be true, other parts of life can get in the way. It could be work, family commitments or a time out with friends, but whatever it is, it can turn seeing your horse in the evening into a chore. My solution was to find a sharer. I love my horse, but having a couple of days off a week to lie in, catch up with family and tick off errands around the house was exactly what I needed. I can understand why people might be nervous about letting someone else take care of their horse, but I’d advise that communication is key. Tell your sharer exactly what falls under their responsibility and what doesn’t, and you’ll avoid any disagreements.
