This year will mark my seventh year owning Kal. She’s not had the easiest life, she’s an ex-racehorse and for a long time I wasn’t sure whether she’d settle into her new life with me. It took us a while, but now I couldn’t be without her. We’ve achieved things that I never thought she’d be able to, like going on fun rides and this year, we’re going to try our hand at some dressage. She’s come on so far and given me so much. I really struggled during the last few years of lockdowns and I don’t know what I’d have done without Kal in my life.
