Being limited to a handful of poles and a few mismatched jump wings shouldn’t get in the way of your training, but it can be tricky to come up with imaginative exercises when you don’t have access to all the gear. Luckily, H&R has done the hard work for you. Enjoy our five favourite exercises that will help you get the best out of your horse, without needing a whole new set of fences.
TOP TIP
You don’t need colourful planks or spook-tastic fillers to put your horse’s bravery to the test. As long as they’re safely secured, everyday objects such as hay bales, tyres and tarpaulins can make great spook hazards.
