Lynsey’s horse helped her through the darkest times
My achievement is that I’m finally in remission after a two-year battle – and couldn’t have done it without the help of my beautiful horse, Izzy. I bought her as unseen two-year-old Thoroughbred, straight off the track and having not owned a horse myself for nearly three years – mad I know, but I felt so drawn to her advert. She’s my strength, and throughout treatment I’d spend hours in her stable just breathing her in. Now, though, it’s onwards and upwards. Izzy’s taught me that you don’t only live once – you live every day!
