Spring grass, longer daylight hours and warmer weather – the coming months should really give the green light for fun times in the saddle. However, if you find yourself nagging, kicking and exerting enormous effort to coax even a smidgen of activity from your horse, you’re unlikely to be able to fully reap the rewards the season brings.
While we know that riding is a terrific workout, you shouldn’t come away exhausted when your horse isn’t even blowing. Luckily, with a bit of creativity and lateral thinking you’ll be able to transform your horse from sluggish to sprightly in no time.
