While a love of horses might not be on your list of essentials when it comes to friends, having an interest in common – and a shared understanding of horse-related experiences – can definitely lead to finding people with whom you simply click.
In fact, most people who ride horses can tell you of at least one friend they’ve made from being on the same yard. Social connections are made by having horses stabled side by side, while filling haynets, or over a borrowed piece of kit, and some of these people will even become friends for life.
Whether you’re looking to make new friends or want to widen your social circle generally, horses and the associated activities can open doors for you and elevate the fun aspect of your horsey life.
