Dressage rider Charlotte Dujardin has parted with her Tokyo bronze medal winning horse, Gio. The 10-year-old KWPN gelding, known at home as Pumpkin, will be starting a new chapter in his career with up-and-coming British Junior rider Annabella Pidgley. With a yard full of future prospects, Charlotte and co-owner Renai Hart decided that the time was right to sell. Following her tricky choice, Charlotte said, “In order to maintain a position in the sport, especially high-level sport, at times these difficult decisions need to be made.
