After an emotional, uphill battle, Park Lane Stables in Middlesex has secured its home of 13 years. Just over a year ago, the charity, which operates as an RDA and Pony Club centre, was told its lease wouldn’t be renewed. Despite hitting its enormous £1m fundraising target to secure the premises, the charity was outbid and the group forced to leave, temporarily relocating. But, as of 16 December 2021, the charity confirmed that it’ll be moving back to Park Lane for good. Park Lane Stables owner, Natalie O’Rourke – who was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours list for her services to people with disabilities and to the community in Teddington – said: “We’re so grateful to our local community for their steadfast support, which has truly sustained us on our journey.” To read the full article, visit bit.ly/CHRISTMAS_MIRACLE_TEDDINGTON
