How many times have you felt total dread when your trainer asks you to go into sitting trot, only to feel like you’re bouncing around like a sack of spuds?
To make things worse the top riders, on their big-striding warmbloods, seem to find sitting trot effortless. So, what’s their secret and how can you learn to love this movement too?
It turns out, it’s all down to how you move your pelvis and open your hips. Riders who can do this well are more likely to follow the horse’s movement and stay in good balance.
