RHUBARB ‘APPLE DELIGHT’ & ‘POULTON’S PRIDE’ PLANTS

Rhubarb is a crop very close to our heart and varieties ‘Apple Delight’ and ‘Poulton’s Pride’ are some of our favourites. With both plants offering completely different variations of the classic rhubarb flavour we all know and love, you can expect a good lengthy harvest of long, flavoursome stalks. Both varieties carry a hint of the characteristic sharpness to be expected with rhubarb, but with a sweet and fruity flavour. Not only do both taste fantastic but they also crop for a long time too. Unlike other rhubarb types, which go dormant during the summer, these varieties have had the dormancy bred out so you can enjoy harvesting from as early as February (if forced) and continue through to November – that’s for 10 months of the year!
