LEIGH LEOPARDS 28
WIGAN ran in seven tries from as many different scorers to gain a measure of revenge on neighbours Leigh in another entertaining battle.
Not a single point was scored in normal time when the sides met here in round one, but it was a very different story this time with twelve tries in all.
Matt Peet believes his Warriors team still has plenty of improvement in them despite temporarily going top of the Super League ladder.
“It was a game that ebbed and flowed as the momentum swung,” said Peet.
“There were parts where we were well in control and parts where we looked out of control and Leigh had control.
“We want to be better during them periods. We’ve got a lot of improvement left in us to make. But we will take the wins when they come.”
