LEAGUE ONE ROUND-UP
SWINTON LIONS included Tonga ace Konrad Hurrell among three new faces in their squad to take on Midlands Hurricanes in Birmingham.
The star centre joined on loan from St Helens, for whom he has only featured once this season, against West Hull in the Challenge Cup. He played four times for Halifax in the Championship earlier in the campaign before injury.
Young St Helens forward Leon Cowen has also made a short-term move to Swinton, where he figured eleven times last season on dual-registration.
Completing the trio is Salford winger Ethan Fitzgerald, who has been starring for that club’s Reserves. He joins on an initial five-week loan period.
