SAINTS AND RAIDERS BID FOR PAPALI'I

ST HELENS Chairman Eamonn McManus has admitted that his club’s interest in NRL star Josh Papali’i may be frustrated by the player signing a new contract with his club, Canberra Raiders.
Saints have offered Papali’i, 33, a two-year contract but reports in Australia now suggest that the Raiders, for whom he debuted in 2011, have offered him an extended contract,
“We're in the market for new players for next season," McManus said on last week's League Express Podcast.
