NORTH WALES CRUSADERS have swooped to sign League One top try scorer Luke Forber

from Rochdale for the 2026 season.
Forber, 27, crossed 21 times for the Hornets in the league, keeping him ahead of Crusaders’ own Sam Wilde, and registered 50 tries in 49 appearances in total for Rochdale since making his debut in 2023.
He said: “I am really looking forward to the new 2026 season with North Wales Crusaders.
“I’m excited for the next chapter in my rugby career and looking forward to the new challenges that lie ahead.
“Hopefully I can be a good addition to the club and help them to achieve their ambitions. I can’t wait to get started.”
Forber was previously with the Clock Face Miners community club.
Coach Carl Forster said: “Luke is a player who really fits our style of play and will bring something different to the wing next season.”
