DRAGONS PREPARING FOR AN UNCERTAIN FUTURE
By STEVE BRADY
CATALANS DRAGONS may be in holiday-mode but club officials are busy making plans for next season and they are preparing for an “uncertain future.”
Chief Executive Sebastien Munoz told Perpignan radio station Ici Roussillon that “the future is uncertain” for French clubs in English-based competitions and every effort was being made to ensure the Dragons had a long and healthy future ahead.
Concerned at uncertainty about the makeup of the 2026 Super League competition and whether or not it will contain 14 teams, and the outcome of the Nigel Wood-led Strategic Review, Munoz said it was “only sensible” to plan for all eventualities.
