Mexico City local Laura Bronner introduces us to Roma Norte, a creative neighbourhood and artists’ haven known for its cafés and bars @eternalexpat


Avenida Álvaro Obregón is the main street in Roma Norte. It’s where you’ll find all the cool old mansions, and there are bars and cafés scattered on the side streets. A pedestrian strip runs down the middle of the street, punctuated by green spaces and interesting sculptures by local artists. One man has carved a wooden totem pole out of a dying tree. It’s a creative, bohemian street with great energy.
