Chefchaouen, Morocco’s blue city

Feeling Blue

THE APPROACH TO Chefchaouen had us a little nervous. As the taxi wound its way over the hills, we were a bit dubious as we saw a lot of white and very little blue dotted around the landscape. ‘Huh? Where’s all the blue? Did every photographer who’s been here lie? Is nothing sacred any more?!’
