This living-room-style cafe, way off the tourist track, is the brainchild of Elisabetta and Bachir Niang, who have poured their hearts and cash into feeding lovers of vegan food with delicious food from their homelands of Sardinia and Senegal. Specialities include mafe, a peanut-infused vegetable stew, and homemade ravioli. The all-you-can-eat Sunday brunch is fast becoming a local tradition, and the earthy Sardinian bread called pane carasau is habit-forming. There’s also a children’s play corner.
