Thoughtful Gifts for Mother's Day

Posted Friday, 16 February 2018   |   348 views   |   Women's Interest   |   Comments (0) She has been your number one fan since the very beginning; watching you grow from the days of your terrible twos to always supporting you through the good times and the bad as you matured in age - we owe it all to our loving and beautiful mothers.

This Mother’s Day, show Mum just how much you have appreciated her unconditional love and support all these years with a thoughtful gift. Whether you treat her to a day out or shower her with delicious sweets and flowers, it is always the thought that counts. If you’re looking to go that extra mile in the gift department this year, we have a few ideas that may inspire you. After all, don’t you think Mum deserves the very best?

Breakfast in Bed

Let mum have a nice sleep in, while you whip up a delicious morning treat for her in the kitchen. After all, she did spend all those years prepping breakfast for you every morning before you headed off to school. Let her lounge in bed for a while with her favourite morning feast that was made specially by the one and only you! She will appreciate the at-home royal treatment and a relaxed start to her day.

Every woman deserves a little head-to-toe pampering every now and then, especially your wonder woman of a mother. Take or treat her to a relaxing combination of a manicure and pedicure at the spa. A little pick-me-up on her nails will have her feeling like a million bucks!

Afternoon Tea

There’s nothing like feasting on mini sandwiches and freshly baked cakes while sipping on a cup of hot tea to pass the afternoon away. If your mum is an avid tea drinker then she will go head-over-heels for a fun-filled afternoon of sweet bites and good conversation in the most lavish and luxurious of settings at an afternoon tea.

Thoughtful Gift Basket

Maybe the best way to put a smile on mum’s face this year is by giving her a completely customized gift. Put together a personalised gift basket that includes a few of her very favourite things. Maybe her favourite chocolates, a new mug or a gift card. Or throw in a special surprise of something she can enjoy all year round like a digital magazine subscription, where she can indulge in her favourite reads straight from the convenience of her tablet, mobile or PC.

Theatre Show

Les Misérables, Aladdin or The Lion King - watch the classics come to life through song and dance. Take mum out for a night or afternoon of pure entertainment where she can watch her favourite stories come to life on the stage. She will love the thrill and excitement of sitting up close and watching a live theatre show, especially when she is accompanied by her loved ones.

Go that extra mile this year for Mother’s Day, with a little dash of effort and thought, Mum will have never felt so spoiled! If you’re looking for a little inspiration then check out our range of women’s digital magazines.
