NORTON'S NEW DAWN
Norton will unveil this all new Atlas at Motorcycle Live this weekend; the most important bike in the firm’s modern history, and the first mass-market
affordable Norton for generations. Designed to be the first ‘everyday Norton’ since the firm’s 2008 rebirth, it’s now the entry-level model, sitting beneath the pricier Commando and super-exclusive V4 RR and SS superbike. The Atlas Nomad, which uses a V4-derived 650cc parallel-twin in a steel trellis frame, will cost just £9995 when it goes on sale this weekend, with a more off-road focused Ranger edition costing £11,995. “It’s a game-changer for us,” says
Norton CEO, Stuart Garner. “It’s our first modern affordable bike.”
